T-minus 46 hours until I fly halfway around the world. Most of the times, people say that and it’s nothing but hyperbole. Halfway is really just across a piddly ocean. Halfway is a new continent. Halfway is the East Coast.
I really mean it. Come June 3, I will be in Mumbai. Literally halfway around the world from Los Angeles. I checked it on a globe.
From June 3 to July 31, I will be taking 15 googlebytes of pictures and posting them here. I’ll get more into the project I’m working on later, but for now, here’s a list of posts you can look forward to reading:
- The reason I went to seminary
- Why I do what I do
- The goal of Light in a Box
- Arts, not crafts
- The one where I try to be an extra in a Bolliwood movie
- Harassing monkeys
- The quest for a burrito in the land of samosas
- Zombie Hank visits the Taj Mahal
- Malaria and me
- Basitball diaries
- Another story of me getting lost in a foreign country
- Pictures of telephone poles
- Doodling and prayer
- And a whole bunch more
Seriously, I have an internet connection at the place where I’m staying, so I will be constantly updating this throughout the summer. This is just the first of many.
Safe passage brother, I will follow your journey….
yeah!
